THE NUMBERS

The graphics below are updated in real time and provide up to the date market data. The most common question I get is “How’s the Market”. These graphs are some of the same tools I use to understand how and where the market is going. If you are a numbers person, this is the place for you.

  • Sales Price: Compares prices in our various townships to the overall trend in the county.
  • Days on Market: Trending up means we could be heading to a buyers’ market, and if homes are starting to sell quicker things might be trending towards a sellers’ market.
  • Percent of List Price: Indicates whether buyers need to offer above list price to win a home or if we could be seeing multiple offer situations, or if it might be better to price your home aggressively.
  • Homes for Sale: Probably the most important and easiest way to understand the market. If there are less homes being listed for sale, it’s a fair bet that yours could garner more attention. If that number is increasing, it can indicate buyers are seeing challenges.
